Same reason there are bad robots every year.
-Lack of resources.
- Poor planning and use of time.
- Bad parts
-Trying to do too much
- Not thouroughly understanding the concept of the game or the rules.
We've had bad robots before and we'll have even more bad robots next year.
It's nothing new.
