After a year away from FIRST you still associate any and all numbers with FIRST teams.

BTW, the Holiday Inn across the street from the sports arena had at least one or two slots for Mountain Dew in each of its vending machines. I suppose that the fact I noticed is another indicator that I'm overdosed on FIRST, like it or not.

~ In physics you're learning about wavelengths and frequency and you learn that a CD goes from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. You stare at "CD" for a while, thinking, CD? Frequency? Why is this making no sense? before it actually dawns on you that it's a music CD they're talking about, and not the website. (It was early. I have physics at 7:30 in the morning. D=)

~ During swim camp over the summer, you have a break between lunch and the afternoon practice from 12:45 to 1:30. And every afternoon, without fail, you have a sudden outburst at 1:11.

~ You make excuses to visit the tech lab at school whenever possible.

~ You only have one friend that isn't in robotics.

~ You have dreams about competitions (and chickens).

I am in my calc lecture right now and the teacher brought out a over head projector, and to make it so we can't see the overhead sheet on the screen she put a green sheet of paper over it. At first glance I was like "omg why does she have a green light down there?!"

You watch the final four in the GA dome and spend most of it thinking how weird it is to see some other event crown its champions there. And that most of the country doesn't know that FIRST will be taking over that floor in about a week and a half. But for those of us who do know, this Championship was just the warmup.
