Wow, the be perfectly honest, I completely forgot we got Rover back after ATL. I've gotton so used to the 'no, you can't work on it, it's in a warehouse in a crate and you can't touch it!' mentality that it completely slipped my mind.

Re: 2007 Finger Lakes Regional!

Ed, it might have slipped your mind, but I'm graduating this June So unless you guys get me some award ideas before then, I really can't do anything to help you out... But hopefully my teacher will show some of the younger students how to use the laser cutter so that they can help you out.

WE probably won't build a jeep-bot this year. The main purpose of the jeep-bot was to test the drive base.

i think I heard the rookies talking about building a flatbed tow-truck.

hmm. a ramper bot thingy? hmm.

Well i have a faculty meeting next thursday for the local hs. and i will be contacting the local BOCES as well, i am more pumped to get the boces involved more then the HS. I see more teacher and student involvement from them.

If all goes through we will hopefully be able to get a robot from some team or atleast a kit chassis and make it to the Ruckus!

Re: 2007 Finger Lakes Regional!

This may sound a little noobish (Hey look I made a word!) but even though I've been in FIRST for 2 years now, I've never heard of Rah Cha Cha Ruckus. Could someone please explain to me what it is(and where)?

Thanks.

1511 (pre ruckus committee startup) will be handing out 52 "invitation" goodie bags at ATL to teams that have not yet attended Ruckus and might be interested. If your team hasnt attended and is interested, PM me, or stop by our pits!!

If any Rochester teams are interested in helping with the Committee, PM me as well... I will be sending out invites to all local team leaders POST-ATL!!

Thanks for recording that ! It's a great flick for Rochester since it's broadcast across the north east.
