Re: West Coast Post-Season Scrimmage

CalGames will be held in the Bay Area in October. The announcement is here: http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55506

There are several arguments for not holding it in the spring or summer. People are burned out after the build and FIRST competition season. A lot of teams go on hiatus in the summer. Many teams use the fall to get new members up to speed before FIRST kicks off. It also gives teams who are so inclined plenty of time to repair and/or enhance their robots.

If anyone is looking for something to do during the off season, The Battle at the border should be something to look at. Our mentor Mr. Acker wants this event to take place simply because its fun and it gives drivers a chance to get a little bit more time on the sticks for next year.

For either of these events, please let me and 1717 know if you need any help administrating or anything like that.
