I played it once but failed miserably due to the fact that I couldn't understand where to put my hands (plus the instruction screen was in Korean) |

Re: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!!
Guitar Hero? Pffff.
Guitar Freaks is much more challenging. Plus, they didn't cut the songs on GH at all so you end up playing the same chords 100x. Not fun. Good songs, but the whole set up pretty much reminds you of how you should play a real guitar instead. Besides, Para Para is good for engineers. It gives us ideas! http://youtube.com/watch?v=BkfVjXxzv...elated&search= |

Re: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!!
I tried Technologic on StepMania, it started off easy but suddenly got very difficult...When I know I'm gonna fail a song I hit random directions on the arrows because I know that I'll screw up anyway...

Re: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!!
ITG is better
I can pass pretty much any 11, and working on Delirium Ex. I can step it just fine, but I completely run out of stamina at the end. Robotics nerds != physically fit xDI'm pretty good at Beatmania too (at least, BMUS). I think we're taking a trip to Dave & Buster's at St. Louis, if anyone wants to face me in Pump it Up I'll be wearing a green shirt and waiting! Last edited by Grant Cox : 25-02-2007 at 16:12. |

If you do't know what DDR is or if you are not completely addicted, than you must live in a cage.

I haven't been able to get much StepMania playing in because I've been addicted to M.U.G.E.N. lately...

Re: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!!
We had a social at our school after the UTC regional. We had a 16 person xbox tourny, a DJ and best of all a few machines set up with stepmania. The kids from other teams and our team (especially myself) had a lot of fun.
Even though I started to have chest pain and had to be rushed to the hospital (I have a history of pneumothoraxs)... But I wouldn't go until I finished the current song I was on (Rhythm and Police; Oni) Oh well. It was fun. Jacob |

Re: DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION!!!
Seeing this thread reminds me how little I play it now; I used to be obsessed with DDR and Stepmania, but I haven't played either more than once or twice in the past 6 months. Part of it is my metal pad busted a solder on one of the arrows a year ago and I never took the time to fix it, but robotics has also just played a bigger role recently.
Anybody do Stepmania online? I used to do it way back but my account's probably been deleted by now; maybe I should get back into it again. |
