We can always go back to corn. Only this time we can use those giant genetically engineered corn kernels that are the size of car tires.

Re: Discs Anyone?

I've always thought PVC batons with end caps would make a good game piece. The game could be designed so that teams can score points easier by gathering them up off the floor into a bin and depositing them somewhere, but score more by manipulating individual batons precisely and scoring in some other way. Largish end caps (~twice the radius of the baton) could make it so that they are not too much of a pain to pick up, but still a challenge.

I think that replacing the Hawaiian shirts on Dave Lavery mannequins would be infinitely more popular. If we had to put them on the mannequins, there had better be another way to get points because I can forsee a boycott of that scoring action....

30 bonus points if you can put a banana in its shirt pocket.

Re: Discs Anyone?

Why only use one type of game piece? I'm surprised there isn't more talk about using two different types of game pieces. I.E. pool noodles AND inner tubes, or something similar to that.

Re: Discs Anyone?

The game should be something that could be put to practical use in real life, and requires teamwork (much like this year's game). Rack n' Roll is great because you NEED a defensive robot, you NEED and offensive robot, and you NEED a bonus point robot. Anything else, and you aren't getting far.
