Just one question, if you look at the NJ results, 88 only put on 4 tubes. Then in Boston they get 28. I don't know about you, but that seems fishy to me. Was a scouter putting down tubes for an entire alliance, and not just one specific robot? Maybe 88 got that much better, I didn't see either regionals so I don't know, but I just wanted to point that out.

I have no trouble believing that 88 put up that many tubes at Boston, so they may just have been having problems at NJ

Do these scores include elimination matches? I assume that they would not but I just hadn't seen it clarified.

Actually these statistics are only from qualifying matches. We don't scout during finals because we want the team to enjoy the fruits of their hard work (the team making it into finals).

88 got much better in Boston. I remember thinking the same thing, but I was assured by one of the scouts (who saw 88 in both nj and boston) that this was accurate.

Re: 2007 best tube scorers

88 definitely did much better in Boston than NJ. I was quite surprised too. The elimination matches at Boston were crazy. So many tubes were going up, especially the winners 69, 126 and 125. They were on a roll

Wow, the results are quite wide, here. A few teams seem to come up a lot, but it also seems to vary from region to region. I guess we'll see at nats, eh?

Only one match, an alliance made it past 100, they were so close to a full eight, but the defense playing here at Colorado was done really well.

I think that team 1574 should be considered as a really heavy scorer. I think we have an average of almost 5 tubes per match, with a maximum of 7.

Re: 2007 best tube scorers

I don't know if anybody has mentioned them yet but 234, Cyber Blue, is one of the fastest teams I have seen since I first saw 1114. I turned away from the field while watching one of their quals at Long Island, and when I turned back 20 seconds later, they had put up three more tubes. I credit these guys and girls with our Long Island win, we couldn't have done it without them and their amazing offensive machine.

Re: 2007 best tube scorers

I am only a little offended that my team, 1425, has been neglected so far...
We went undefeated scoring tubes throughout the Las Vegas Regional, including tough qualifying matches against such teams as 254 and 233
In San Diego we were second only to 330 in average rings. We were regularly defended in the elimination tournament at Vegas, but still scored 3 - 5 rings...
