Thanks to all of you guys. You were tremendous hosts and we had a blast. You guys were very kind and definitly impressed the hell out of us. Congrats on hosting such a great regional. FIRST wouldn't be the same without all of you guys.

Re: To All Canadian Teams at GTR

I wouldlike to thank Team 269 for being gracious and leaving the practice field after they had waited so long to get there. Volunteers are grateful that teams like this don't put up a fight after a long day. My hat is off to you Team269.

Re: To All Canadian Teams at GTR

A note from one of our mentors:

Quote:
Thank you to the people coordinating and attending the Greater Toronto Regional. Team 269 from Oconomowoc, WI USA had a great time. The regional was well run - great Job! We had fun meeting the Canadian teams and visiting the Toronto downtown area. Our students enjoyed the whole experience of being in another country, even going through customs. I would recommend this regional to other US teams who want give their students a unique regional experience. The members of our team who helped with team queuing, robot inspection, refereeing and field reset really had fun with all the other volunteers. If any teams from Canada want to come to the Wisconsin Regional let us know and we will help with travel advise.
