-When you and all your team mates are wearing the team t-shirt and gold metal the Monday after you win your regional. Other students give you weird looks, think you are a nerd. Yet in your mind, you know that you, and not the jocks or skaters, are the future of the world.

-When the only reason that you don’t want to move out of your little town and on to college is the feeling of emptiness when you think about life without robotics.

-When your school’s robotics team does better than your football team, which took state.

-When you are driving home from a regional and see a car dealership with cars displaying on platforms and comments that the ramp to the platforms is too steep.

I can relate to ALL of those. I remember just a couple weeks back seeing the cars on those platforms at a car dealership and thinking it would be impossible for the car to get up. I still dont understand that... And my entire team wore our medals to school the following sunday. (though I bet every team does that)
