So... Who's packed and ready to go?

I literally just finished packing. Clothes for 5 days, medical supplies (I had surgery yesterday morning and have to follow through with some medical procedures (soaking my feet)), hygiene products, two books, two iPods (2gb nano for better battery life, 40gb 4th gen for more music), headphones, one pin (1359 pin, to hold a flap in one of my bags back), 8 AA batteries (I take lots of pictures), and my camera.

I'm probably going to go put them in the car so tomorrow morning (at 4am) I don't have to worry about finding my bags around my house.

Don't worry about it. I leave in about a half hour and haven't packed yet. Of course it only takes me about 5 minutes to pack everything I need.

How often do you forget things? I forgot my tripod when we went to Chicago, and I paid dearly for it... I'll probably end up forgetting something significant. I'll even make a checklist and forget things on their sometimes.

Re: So... Who's packed and ready to go?

this year we got to pack the vex robot in with the luggage...which then became overweight so I shuffled stuff around into another suitcase.

I'm travelling light this time, my laptop bag only has the laptop (an old Dell L400 that's pretty small), charger, wireless card, ipod and cable, digital camera and battery and SD-USB adapter, a couple usb drives, headphones, book, get lost on MARTA map, etc.

and plane tickets

edit: and gameboy SP, because it's smaller than the gameboy color and way smaller than the really old gameboy

Depends on what time it is where you are. It's 1300 here, I leave at 0430 to go to the airport, and leave SFO at 0900.

Re: So... Who's packed and ready to go?

Let's see...

-Clothes for all three days, plus spares
-One nicer-than-average change of clothes, if I've got space
-Toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver, shampoo, soap
-Ear plugs (you laugh, but they really help!)
-iPod (because eight hours driving round-trip without music is just....awful!)
-Aspirin (you never know...)
-Roll of duct tape (in case I have to make any more Fresca manpurses)
-Fresca (for outside the Dome only, of course)
-Camera (PowerShot A620, with the obligatory extra memory)
-Batteries (AAs, quantity As Many As I Can Find)
-iBook
-Safety glasses (because I've never been able to wear FIRST's comfortably)
-My Gracious Professionalism (if for no other reason than to awkwardly shout out "YES!!!" when I pass the sign)

Of course, I have to cram all of this into my suitcase first--none of it currently is packed. (And it'll have to wait until after the 10-page paper.)

Re: So... Who's packed and ready to go?

Got a ton of laundry finished, and some lists of stuff I need to remember made.. but as far as packing. Well.. the reality of empty suitcases should answer that one nicely.
