Drivetrain: 6wd, 2 CIMs per side
Speed: not sure
Ground Clearance: didn't have any problems at Israel Regional
Arm: Scissor lift mechanism + arm
Gripper: Claw
Pick Up Method: Floor, wall, rack (spoiler)
Ramp: Ramp climber
Results: Israel Regional Champions
Strengths: Scoring, Aggresive, great defense, very experinced driver and also great ramp climber

Robot Class: 4ft 120 lbs. Hybrid (ramp/scorer)
Drivetrain: 4 CIM motors, Andymark 2-speed transmission
Speed: approx. (never calculated) 15ft/s and 8ft/s
Ground Clearance: 3" w/out rear kickstands, 1/4" with kickstands
Arm: telescoping aluminum arm, max 10 ft.
Gripper: Two sets of two pneumatic rubber-dipped metal fingers
Pick up Method: Center of tube (any orientation)
Ramp: can hold 2 bots, 12.5" off the ground, 17.25 degree ramp up
Results: UTC Quarterfinalists
Strengths: fast, strong, score average 4 in a match, experienced drive team, good on-the-fly strategist coach

Robot Class: 4 Ft / 120 lbs
Drivetrain: 6wd, Custom Traction Wheels, AM Gen 2 Shifters, 4 Small CIMs
Speed: 6-8 fps / 13-15 fps
Ground Clearance: 30+ degree climbing capacity
Arm: Simple shoulder attached to elevator in order to get to third row of rack
Extension: All three levels.
Gripper: Single-grasp double-claw pneumatic design with polycarbonate scoop (improved from regionals)
Pick up Method: Ground, Wall
Ramp: None
Results: Semi-Finalists at NJ + UTC New England
Strengths: Scorer + Defensive Robot

Team 2265 The Fe Maidens

Name: Rosie the Riveted

Dimensions: At ramp- 37” x 27” x 13” (with ramp flat)
At highest point-37” x 27” x 36”

Weight: 119 lbs.

Defense: Our robot is really hard to push around, and is relatively fast. Defense is no problem.
Offense: We have both an arm & a ramp. The ramp can fit 2 robots tandem, the arm can score ringers most easily on the bottom row.

Team 1885
Picture: Picking up a tube (good image of our claw), Two robots on our ramps
Robot Class: 5' 110 lb Ramp & Scorer
Drivetrain: 6wd skid with 2 motors
Speed: We've got an average speed and average torque, don't know f/s or anything.
Ground Clearance: 2-3" or so, can't recall (programmer X-D)
Arm: Elevator arm with a jointed forearm that goes up and down, Mid-low scorer
Extension: 1.5' or so past our robot, give or take.
Gripper: pair of wheels
Pick up Method: spin wheels to the outside, sucks tubes up. Spin them inwards, spits them out.
Ramp: Two ramps and platforms, drop straight sideways, 16 degree incline.
Results: Outed in the quarterfinals of both VCU and Vegas. Was seeded 17th at VCU (IIRC), and 7th at Vegas.
Strengths: Decent scorer with great ramps.

I just wanted to say GOOD Luck on Thursday! I won't make it till Friday and I can't wait to see how everyone is doing! Team 292 will be there, ready to go after a few modifications to our robot, and excited to compete! Oh, I'm soooo excited I can't wait.
