Go to Post We were asked to help change a culture. If the solution was simple FIRST would have given more specific guidelines on how to do this. It is our job as teams to find unique and creative ways to help fulfill the request from FIRST. - tim-tim [more]

For Florida I went back through the matches and confirmed we won two matches at least because of the extra ringer. One time it missed in finals if we would have had one more ringer we would have won Florida regional.

So it really made a difference. Plus teams notice you because you are moving and scoring while others are sitting there.

We usually score under 5 seconds.

Well congrats on your robot, it looks excellent.
And that's too bad about florida. Speaking from experience, it's a real bummer when you come so, so close to winning a regional, but don't.

Re: 1902 Autonomous Highlights

Auton scoring made a huge difference in 648's win-loss ratio... only one match was lost that we placed a keeper in... that happened to be the first one. Good luck to you all here in Atlanta... I really need to get to bed now. I'll drop by 1902's pit, fo' sho'!
