Okay, so Kyle and I thought we were staying at the Marquis - actually.. we are in the cheaper Marriott closer to the competition - the Marriott Atlanta Downtown. Cheaper - but closer. Awesome.

OK, so what seemed like all 30+ teams at the Marquis just simultaneously gathered in the atrium on whatever floor they were are on and started screaming at the top of their lungs - kinda a last hurrah for everyone. 48 was in their team meeting at the time. We saw the security guys making the rounds soon after.....kinda crazy.

I missed out on the cheering. Didn't hear it because I was in a noisy room on the other side of the atrium.

I actually think that was when everybody was cheering and clapping -- I thought it was my roommate's laptop, but then I opened up my room door and it got quite a bit louder...

If you guys are talking about Friday night, that was because it was our mentor's birthday...we started singing and the entire hotel joined in He was embarassed but happy, thanks everyone!

that was amazing. people on all floors were coming out to the halls to see what was going on.

yea team 1141, was in a team meeting as well when the cheering started and our whole team ran out and started cheering as well, it was really quite amazing and did anyone else see those airplanes that went screaming down the atrium?

You can't forget the random dropping of objects from the 47th floor (paper airplanes, coins, superballs) all in the construction area where nobody was at night of course...

Too bad, some team apparently was dropping Water bottles off that floor, and got the elevators basically shut down. Still good times though.
