Thank you 987 and 177!

Don't mess with maroon!

You both were absolutely amazing partners, and I don't think we can thank you enough.

987, wow. We were completely blown away that you weren't picked earlier. A working autonomous mode, a great scorer, even under defense, and an excellent 1 robot ramp, just in case (even though we never used it). You worked with us, but man, that last play on Einstein, well, that's what wins champs I guess. Thanks for sticking with it all the way, we couldn't have done it without you.

177, you were our #1 second pick hands down by the end of Friday. You may not have ranked high, but we'd seen what you could do, and it was exactly what we needed. #8 seed had the advantage this year, getting a great scoring robot, and then our excellent defense and backside rack disruption partner. We've both been around for a number of years, and we're glad to have been able to share the gold with you!

233, 71, and 179, what an alliance. Going up against the Beast is nothing trivial in itself, but when their partners are two other powerhouse teams from Florida, well we weren't exactly optimistic. You put up a great fight, and we're happy to have had the opportunity to play you. b

292 and 226. You may not have made it to eliminations, but you guys were key to taking it home. Without your assistance, there would be no batteries for the world champion alliance.

and finally, a few well deserved congrats

2194, the little rookie team that could. Winning their regional and then making the top of the pack on Newton division is no small feat. Congrats on your successes and on winning the Championship Rookie Inspiration award. I expect amazing things from you.

365, you deserved it. After so many years, you finally took home the big one. This team is unbelievable, and I'm glad that if we weren't going to get it, we lost to you. A very large congrats again.

and lastly, to Team 190. You guys have all worked extremely hard this year, and made my first year as a member one of the most memorable of my life. From winning Chairman's at BAE, taking gold at my home regional SVR, and then going from 8th seed captains straight to the top. You guys are the best, and I can't thank everyone enough for letting me be a part of this. Thank you

Oh, and a shout out to Arefin, thanks for letting us hang out with you, we had an awesome time!

EDIT: And, of course, I've forgotten some teams.

To 126, 1126 and 1516, thank you guys so much for offering us your scouting data from the other divisions. We didn't expect to make it as far as we did, and are very grateful to the assistance you gave us.

Yeah go maroon!!!
Thank you guys for everythin you guys had everything this competition asked for, a great double ramp and an arm that could score. Thank you for picking us.

177 Was a great choice you guys are amazing! great defense and scoring too.

Just a a side note:almost everyone that played at Einstein had gone to the SVR or Vegas great regionals to go to.

Thank you for all the other alliances for a great battle.

Re: Thank you 987 and 177!

Wow, wow, wow...the reality of winning a championship is just beginning to sink in and Team 987 needs to pass along our thanks to two great alliance partners. Thanks 190 for taking advantage of the higher seeded alliances overlooking our team and realizing what a great match we were for your team's abilities ...fantastic defense and powerful ramp/lift combo...(you were actually number one on our picking list because we knew how well our two teams would compliment and work with each other)...thanks to 177 for being the perfect second arm-bot and for playing so smart...thanks to all of the other teams that made the fight for the Championship a battle all the way (what the heck is in the water you Florida teams drink to make so many formidible competitors anyways?). A special thanks to all of the teams we competed against who displayed such humbling GP and all of our partners throughout the qualifying matches...and to all of you who predicted that the battle would be so fierce at the rack that strategy and a two good scorers and a ramp combo would be needed to win-you were right!

Re: Thank you 987 and 177!

Congrats guys, you three are awesome teams and together you made one powerful alliance. To 987, sorry about knockin you over in the finals on Newton, by the time i saw we were under you and i backed up, you were already falling. Luckily nothing broke, or else i would have felt even worse. again it was an honor playing against you three and hope to see ya next year.

P.S. I think the world champs should come down to Florida next year, and see how we do it in the sunshine state.
