In my case, the number appeared in the header of a confirmation email sent to the primary email address I provided in the application.

Very nice application form, good job IRI committee! The verification e-mail for Team 980's application indicated we're #63...

Any guesses as to the total number of applications the IRI committee will receive?

My guess: 234!

Actually that number is not exactly representative of the order in which you registered. It's just the line number in the table of the database that your information is located.

I won't yet say how many teams and who has applied, but I will say that this is the most incredible response EVER!

Indiana is in the Central Time Zone so the websites time is probably set that way as well.


Man, I knew our team should have been ready to fill out the form as soon as it came up... now we've got to wait until tomorrow by which time we'll be like the 150th submission...

i got the snow question too but being from florida i thought it was yellow. dont they always talk about yellow snow? finally figured it out and got our team registered. now we wait....

God, I hope not having an essay won't hurt us... I don't know exactly what our team leader put, but it wasn't very long. He tends to not beat around the bush, which is usually not good.

Indiana is in the Eastern time zone.

Some counties (like near Chicago) are on Central time, but the official time zone of the state is Eastern.

Indianapolis is actually in the Eastern time zone now. This is our 2nd year to do this clock switchin' thang.

Bah, I always hear Chicago is in Central time and therefor think the rest of Indiana is too. I guess thats why I got up and just sat around waiting for everyone else for an hour last year...
