you know you've overdosed on FIRST when you fall asleep after you finish the second section of the SAT early, and you dream about robotics.... in the middle of the SAT!! then when you wake up you have a great new idea for the teams' summer project bot... and can't tell anyone because its the middle of the SATs!!

your teammate has posted in this thread more then once in a day, and you go to read what she said.

You get home from school and the first thing you do is open the internet, in which your homepage is Chief Delphi, and you leave it on till you parents yell at you to go to bed, in which you stay online for another half hour before finally going to bed.

You REALLY want to know what the genius idea is for the summer bot is, but isn't going to bother asking because you are going to hear about it tuesday.

You take Japanese after school because you didn't do so hot last quarter, but the minute it reaches a B you are out of there for robotics like a shot.

Your parents ask you which you which you plan to go to, Japanese after school or Robotics, and it takes you a second to realize what they want you to say.

Instead of having debats on which football team is better with your friends, you have debates on which drive train is better, mecanum or swerve (go swerve!)

No, you are not bragging too much - how great is it that the school board is even willing to consider making FIRST a district wide program? If it doesn't happen this year, keep hammering so they'll be ready for '08-'09. There is obviously interest there. Congratulations!

That was me all over it. My parents nag at me and I was so bummed that I couldn't fit anything in with robotics for my SAT. If I could have fit robotics into it, I'm sure I would have gotten a 6 on that. On the other hand...I probably got a 900.
