Go to Post Designing for failure tends to encourage failure. Worrying about failure analysis during the competition can become a self fulfilling prophesy. Break your pots in the fall and learn how to keep them from breaking. - Mike Betts [more]

Re: Potomac Vex League (PVL) Events

Roboticon Plaques Update: Mrs. Wiseman has gotten the engraved plates made for us (Big Thank You to her!). I now need to mail them to you so that you can affix them to the wooden plaques you received the day of the event.

I also want to mail DVDs/CDs of pictures and video in the same packages.

My goal is getting them to your schools/mentors/coaches before the end of the school year.

Blake
PS: Next season is looking good. We may have enough young teams to be able to form a Middle School league (I'm thinking of a 4-tournament season with about a dozen robots in each event); and continue to have events open to all comers (similar to this last season).

Next season we need to come up with a scheme for determining an multi-event league winner (maybe a NASCAR-style point system?).
