...when there is no class and a few of you spend the entire school day working on robotics related things... even during the presentations by college admissions people... lol and are the only ones that don't consider the day a waste of time

...when you're not surprised that your coach lights microwave popcorn on fire in the robotics room for the third time in three months, resulting in smoke, lights, buzzer, and another visit from the fire department.

...you spend an hour or so in borders in the engineering section wondering why there isn't anything about FIRST, or Dean Kamen, and especially why they don't have their own separate sections, or better yet, bookstores! (I ended up buying a giant calculus book so I can better apply what I've taught myself in independent study calc... lol)
