This one I believe also exists (though admittedly I haven't tried it and it's not free). On Rogers cell phones you can dial #DJ, hold up the phone to the music and it'll identify the song. I don't know what the name of the company that provides the service behind #DJ is; but, presumably they have agreements with other carriers, too and maybe even the same idea online.
