I thought it was a great book.
My only problem was that there was no HUGE secret revealed in it. The biggest secrets were the deathly hallows, Snape, and Dumbledore's past. While these were good secrets and surprised me (especially Snape), they just didn't have the humongousness that the horcuxes and the prophecy had in books 5 and 6. Also, I don't know why Rowling decided to kill off Hedwig. It didn't matter much to the story. Other than those complaints, however, I thought it had a great feel to it with many exciting fights.
