Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
I do not see a weight issue here, Just needs some holes - hrm now to go find a drill bit big enough or perhaps maybe just an oversized CNC Machine =)

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
Gee, I don't see any problem with it at all. The only thing I'd be worried about is the ability to find a helicopter to airlift it to a regional of your choice. Otherwise, it looks like it would work.

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
you could get around the dimensions if you built the robot inside like a unicycle. Only thing id be worried about is popping ringers...

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
From an inspection standpoint, you have to figure how to get them in the sizing box without disassembling it first.

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
Nah, it's just an optical illusion. Just put some stripes on it, it'll look a lot smaller, oh, and don't for get the holes. I think some dynamite would be enough to create the holes

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
I still say all you need is a CNC machine and that should take care of all your weight issues. I don't care what you say that wheel will fit, we'll CNC it to make it fit =).

Re: pic: Our wheels finally came in...
A Spool of Thick Cabling although I've never seen one that big. Usually specific vehicles in the Electrical Companies drive around with one but not of that magnitude. I'm pretty sure though I'm close. Maybe that particular one was used to make the worlds biggest ball of twine erm on second thought maybe not the worlds biggest ball of twine is just a bit smaller than that spool right there =).
