A master doesn't have to wait to see.

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 1

Thursday
New Orleans at Indianapolis
2 great offenses. Home-field for the tie-breaker.

Sunday
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
Browns would be better if they had Quinn starting... but still not good enough to win.
Atlanta at Minnesota
Falcons are in for a long season.
Tennessee at Jacksonville
Madden Curse?
Kansas City at Houston
Houston might sneak up on some teams. Now if they could just improve that O-line...
Philadelphia at Green Bay
McNabb was playing like an MVP before his injury last year, expect him to do it again this year.
Carolina at St Louis
Rookie Jon Beason (1st round pick out of Miami) is a beast at LB, but so is Steven Jackson.
Miami at Washington
You think Miami would have learned from signing Daunte Culpepper not to go and get another fragile veteran quarterback.
New England at New York Jets
Super Bowl favorites (at the moment).
Denver at Buffalo
This ones for Darrent Williams.
Detroit at Oakland
Anyone remember Robert Gallery? That worked out didn't it?
Chicago at San Diego
Watch Rex throw away another season for the Bears.
Tampa Bay at Seattle
Jeff Garcia won't be able to help the Bucs out enough to win.
New York Giants at Dallas
Cowboys are talented on both sides of the ball. If the Defense plays as well as the Offense, watch out.

Monday
Baltimore at Cincinnati
Baltimore's aging D starts its decline this year.
Arizona at San Francisco
Cardinals are still working on their O-line and D. 49ers are ready to win now.

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 1

Thursday
New Orleans at Indianapolis
New Orleans is my Super Bowl pick...
Sunday
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
Oy vey, Cleveland Sucks...
Atlanta at Minnesota
Game of two bad teams...
Tennessee at Jacksonville
I'll probably be the only one to pick the Titans... but I have faith.
Kansas City at Houston
Houston will not get a winning season until 2011.
Philadelphia at Green Bay
Toss up?
Carolina at St Louis
I like the Rams this year...
Miami at Washington
Repeat Cleveland quote, but with Miami substituted.
New England at New York Jets
New England looks poised, again.
Denver at Buffalo
Jay Cutler... !!!
Detroit at Oakland
Both these teams stink, but you have to go with the lesser of the bads.
Chicago at San Diego
Chicago sucks... Chicago sucks... I hate Chicago... Rex Grossman is from the University of Florida, explains a lot. Start Griese and they still don't have a chance. Go LT!
Tampa Bay at Seattle
Meh..
New York Giants at Dallas
Meh...

Monday
Baltimore at Cincinnati
Arizona at San Francisco

Monday night is filled with terrible games now. Boring...

Now I'll pick....

Thursday
New Orleans at Indianapolis
Go with the veteran home team who just knows how to win. This'll probably be the highest scoring game of the year!

Sunday
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
It doesn't matter who plays quarterback for Cleveland. They're not going to come close to beating Pittsburgh.
Atlanta at Minnesota
Atlanta comes out looking to prove everybody wrong.
Tennessee at Jacksonville
Garrad will make Jacksonville a very dangerous team this year!
Kansas City at Houston
KC's unsettled QB situation stunts Johnson's ability to get loose.
Philadelphia at Green Bay
McNabb is back. Farve is washed up.
Carolina at St Louis
The Panthers can play defense. Last I heard the Rams can't.
Miami at Washington
Miami is falling apart.
New England at New York Jets
The Jets steal one from New England at home.
Denver at Buffalo
Henry will get over 200 yards and three touchdowns against this sad defense.
Detroit at Oakland
Detroit isn't much but they are a hundred times better than the Raiders.
Chicago at San Diego
A possible Superbowl showdown with the home team taking the game.
Tampa Bay at Seattle
Seattle is not going to let TB come into their home and steal a game.
New York Giants at Dallas
Dallas rips New York a new one.

Monday
Baltimore at Cincinnati
So long as Cincy has that pourous defense of theirs I don't trust them to beat any playoff caliber team. Even if they're at home.
Arizona at San Francisco
All teams in the NFC West are the same. All right with nagging flaws. When in doubt take the home team.

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 1

Thursday
New Orleans at Indianapolis
--Manning versus a suspect Saints defensive back. While I expect both teams to take a small step back this year, Colts win.

Sunday
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
-- While I think Tomlin will be a great coach, no one is talking about that in his only year as cordinator he led and awful pass defense.
Atlanta at Minnesota
-- I don't think Harrington has ever beaten the Vikings. That and the fact that its in Minnesota gives the Vikings a win, starting very long seasons for both teams.
Tennessee at Jacksonville
-- Does Young have any weapons?
Kansas City at Houston
-- I think both of these teams will struggle alot this year, but Chiefs win because they can run the ball.
Philadelphia at Green Bay
-- Green Bay has a chance at the playoffs, but eagles are still better
Carolina at St Louis
-- Besides Steve Smith who do the Panthers have on offense, while the Rams have Bulger, Jackson, and Holt
Miami at Washington
-- I think Camble will be much improved this year while Green is clearly past his prime
New England at New York Jets
Denver at Buffalo
Detroit at Oakland
Chicago at San Diego
Tampa Bay at Seattle
New York Giants at Dallas
Monday
Baltimore at Cincinnati
Arizona at San Francisco
