Exactly. Also, I don't know how large DVD's would be when formatted and compressed for use on an iPod or in my case a Zune. Never tried it yet.

Also, don't limit yourself on music or videos only for the iPod. You have it usable as a hard drive as Billfred stated. Why not use it as that. There are a lot of documents you need as the Robot season goes by. Why not put them all on the iPod, as well as all your Team pictures to share with potential sponsors if the need arises.

Bottom line is the largest iPod today is 160GB. In a few years, you will be complaining that 160GB is not large enough, and Apple will bump up to a larger capacity just in time. Apparently at this time (with most users it seems) they have raised the bar as far as capacity before the common user needs it.
