 We had an over all losing record this year. When I look at kid's faces, they don't give a rip about that. I see excitement about the next event and talking about improvements for next year. Winning is nice, but that is not the reason I do what I do. - wilsonmw04 [more] |

I integrated the acceleration of 9.8m/s/s to get a velocity as 9.8(x) m/s. I then graphed the integral of that (position) and just saw where it intersected a horizontal line that was the distance traveled. That gave the time to travel that distance; From there the speed was as easy as putting that time into the velocity equation above. It's all really basic calculus. So, if you haven't taken it yet, don't worry; you'll get it really fast once you do. |
