WOO for bringing back an old thread!
I was going to start a new one, but it's easier to just put it here. This is my new project. It's a 1990 Ranger (my third ranger), and it's bagged and bodydropped. I drove it for about an hour and a half, then it decided to overheat. Pulled the heads saturday and discovered a cracked head, both head gaskets blown, and a hole in one of the pistons. So, looks like no more 2.9 v-6, this baby will get a ford 5.0 (302cid) and aod or c4 tranny. any questions? it's laying body btw, not frame. when i do a dash swap i'll rewire the truck also. I'm thinking i may keep the three link in the rear, but set up the front for side to side, instead of just front/back. oh and a low quality video is necesarry!
