Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 4

Sunday
Baltimore at Cleveland
Yes they're swapping QB's during the game, but I like their defense more than Cleveland's Offense.

St. Louis at Dallas
This is probably going to be closer than people think. Bulger had a slow start last year so he should be coming into stride, and Dallas give up too many passing Yards.

Chicago at Detroit
Lions versus bears....that sounds like an amazing thing to watch in the wild. However, this one should lack the luster of their animal counterparts. However, Lions should take advantage of da Bears' new QB trying to settle in.

New York Jets at Buffalo
New York looked solid last week, and Buffalo has too many injuries for comfort.

Houston at Atlanta
I picked Houston to make the playoffs, and I picked Atlanta to have one of the worst records at the end of the season, this was a no brainer.\

Oakland at Miami
Oakland's D was solid last week (against Cleveland anyone looks good sans cinci) but if Miami give Ronnie the ball, they should win.

Green Bay at Minnesota
Favre is playing with the joy of his youth, and Minnesota's O will be stopped by the Bay's D

Pittsburgh at Arizona
Until Arizona starts coming through on Offense and picks a QB, I'm taking the Red Hot Steelers.

Tampa Bay at Carolina
I'm picking TB to take the NFC South this year, and Delhomme is questionable, so Tampa Bay will win this one.

Seattle at San Francisco
Upset alert of the week. It's only a matter of time before Alex Smith starts looking like a #1 pick this year, look for this to be his coming out party.

Denver at Indianapolis
Denver looked stagnant against a less than spectacular Jax team last week. Expect them to succumb to the stampede of Colts.\

Kansas City at San Diego
This game features two RB's who are living WAY below expectations...however I like San Diego

Philadelphia at New York Giants
Rivalry games are always close (look at the Giants/Skins from last week) so this will be close, but if Burress is out, then Philly wins this easily.

Monday
New England at Cincinatti
I'm going out on a limb and saying that Cincy will come up with the upset. I don't think the Bengals will roll over and play dead like the Pat's 3 other rivals (2 of which were the Jets and the Bills, so this very well might be the first test of the season for them, yes they played SD, but you have to admit, the Chargers rolled over after the first series.)

PS. I like how I'm the only one giving the Bengals a chance in the MNF game.

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 4

Sunday
Baltimore at Cleveland
The Ravens should handle the Browns who were not as good as they thought they were against the Bengals.
St. Louis at Dallas
St. Louis is done.
Chicago at Detroit
The Bears rally around Griese.
New York Jets at Buffalo
The Bills are too beat up to compete.
Houston at Atlanta
The Texans should win this one easily.
Oakland at Miami
I would assume the Phins can take care of the lil' ol' Raidas in their own stadium.
Green Bay at Minnesota
The Vikings had no business losing last week and will be more than eager to make up for it.
Pittsburgh at Arizona
The Cards may have one of the Steelrs coaches but they aint even close to what the Steelers got going for them.
Tampa Bay at Carolina
The Panthers are probably the better team but they actually play better on the road than they do at home.
Seattle at San Francisco
Take the home team.
Denver at Indianapolis
The Broncos luck ran out last week. Now they play a team better than the three previous teams they played combined.
Kansas City at San Diego
The Chargers finally get someone they can manhandle.
Philadelphia at New York Giants
The Eagles kick it into high gear.

Monday
New England at Cincinatti
No Rudi Johnson to go with no defense. no chance for the Bengals.

HAHAHA.... there is good reason your the only one.

The Pats hold both the top offense and top defense by very significant amounts.

New England is 1st in Yards on offense. 2nd in Offensive points. 3rd in passing yards amd 4th in rushing yards. There defense is ranked 3rd only allowing 11.7ppg), and 207 ypg (ranked 1st).

Bengals don't have Johnson either.

The Bengals are 29th in the league in Points allowed!!! 29th in yards allowed!!! there rushing offense is pretty horrible at only 10th in the league.

Yes there offense might be decent (ranked 5th right now but i expect that to drop in the next few weeks to around the 15th place), but there defense is horrible. If you don't have a good secondary Tom Brady is going to have a field day all over you. And then when you try to adjust for that he is going to ready it and Maroney and Faulk are going to run it right down your throats.

ok ok enough bashing of a team

*yeah i know you can all tell im prolly a pats fan hahaha... but this was wrote in a non-biased view*

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 4

Changing a pick:
Chicago at Detroit
Look at the injury report: DT - Tommy Harris, LB - Lance Briggs, CB - Nathan Vasher, CB - Charles Tillman. All are game-time decisions. Not good when your about to face Detroit's high-flying, Mike Martz offense.
