Maya

Our team is more familiar with the Maya Autodesk program. We were wondering if this was an acceptable program to use or do we have to use the Autodesk 3ds Studio Max software.

In the past, Autodesk does not accept the use of Maya. I dont know for this year since Autodesk bought Maya and they had a year since then to consider the rules. But since little change of the AVA rules occur year to year (with the exception of last year, but that was only judging) I would assume that it wont be.

But dont let that get you down. If you know one animation package, learning the next one will be very easy. Its just a matter of finding where the tools are.
