I am afraid the I am the culprit on this one Nate.

Brandon -The CGI Guy- Martus, originally had the site coded to have the proofread box default to unchecked.

I asked him to change it because I like to proofread my messages and everyone is or should be like me ;-) so... I assumed everyone would rather have it default to proofread.

I am easy. If there is a great hue and cry to have this box unchecked by default, I will not stand in the people's way.

So... speak up if you care. Don't if you don't.

Hi all
I think you should leave it on, because some people might not even know
that you have the proofread option and overread the checkbox. (or like me
as a German, I didn't know what it would do until I tried it ;-)

But if you know that there is the proofread option and you don't want it
then it's just ONE LITTLE TINY CLICK of work ( UH OH!! ;-) - work...) away.
