Re: pic: "Someone had to much fun at BE 6.0"

someone- who shall be nameless but is sitting in the ambulance- decided it would be fun to zip-tie his fingers together and then use a scissors to cut the thing off.....

lets see- in 13 years we've had one kid weld himself with a battery and two hex wrenches, another got a skinned nose from a falling poster board and another big palooka nearly cut off his arm with a radial arm saw at work. I guess this guy just joins a "fraternity of dubious distinction". We just need to "Throw Him From The Bus"

oy vay!!

Hmmmmm. Never really thought about it like that before, but maybe we need to start calling him "Palooka Bear" instead of "Pooh Bear"

Couple of years back we had a kid tie a zip-tie around his palm... then try to use a knife to get it off. Don't remember if we had to call an Ambulance, but the emergency trip to the ER is a team fact.

Maybe this is why we haven't been back to the Phoenix regional...

Actually, he was zip-tied to his friend (Michelle "IDK MY BFF" Celio) by the belt loop.

Michelle, please don't kill me, it's only a little one--

Not to get off topic *cough*
but -- how is Morgan's finger? Did he require stitches?

Re: pic: "Someone had to much fun at BE 6.0"

he didnt need stitches, alot of the bleeding had subsided by the arrival of the EMT's, so a cold compress, a band-aid, and a kiss on the forehead from wayne[p], and he was all better, however we've provided him a much more intriguing story as to how he got this injury to tell his friend around school, because frankly, cutting a zip tie, just doesn't have the appeal required for an amazing story...

See what really happened was he was saving a bus load of old folks and puppies from a gang of ninjas that happened to also be on fire...... and it did it all with just getting a small laceration to the finger.

Actually, Cokeley seems to have received a demented version of the story.
What actually occurred was Person R, thought it would be funny to zip tie Person M (One who was injured) to their significant other, Person M2, by their belt loops. It appeared to be fun for a while, yet they seemed to have major difficulty walking around. They were in search of a tool to remove the heavy duty zip tie binding them together, when the only tool Person M could find was a pair of scissors. Person M tried and tried to cut it, but could not seem to get it. Person M2 tried, who is stronger than Person M, and cut through the heavy duty zip tie. Person M's finger was in the wrong place at the wrong time, the tip of their finger was caught in the tip of the scissors as they slammed shut.

We will not let person M forget this. I'm just glad that person M came out only with his ego a little bruised, a bandaid, and a heck of a BE6 story.
