Sorry to hear that. The loss of any human being is a tragedy, but one who left such an impact is a life to be celebrated. Our hearts go out to you.

Re: Chief Delphi - Passing of a Coach

I joined this team when I was just starting to find my place in this world. Birta Allen was one of the people that helped to mold me into who I have become. She always loved the team and working with everyone, she was proud of us, and reminded us to be proud of ourselves and our accomplishments. It is truly sad to lose one of your own, but comforting to know that she imparted those best attributes of herself onto each and every one of us.

Birta will truly be missed, but I know that she is still watching over us and smiling , cheering us on - and that is something that we will always have.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers go out to her family, friends, and the team she loved so much.

What a fantastic legacy she's left. What a gift her life was to the many students who's lives have changed because of her....
