[FTC]: Zip ties

Hello,
We were wondering if it is legal to attach zip ties to our conveyor belt (or anywhere else)

Thanks

Re: [FTC]: Zip ties

Hmmm...

I wonder what the FTC Manual has to say about that?

(Hint: right-click on the link above, select Save Target As ..., then open and read.)

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.

Or identical ones, as allowed by <R5> part c.

I apologize for being cryptic in my earlier response. An FTC team that is just starting may not have received guidance (from FIRST or from local mentors) on where to get the information they need.

Re: [FTC]: Zip ties

Thanks for the replies
We did check the manual (that was the very first thing we did ) but it said that we could use zip ties to organize our cables, and didn't mention if they were / were not allowed for other things. We had seen some teams at a practice competition use zip ties on their conveyor so we just wanted to double check that it is ok!

Good luck to you and your teams,
