 Since our team is in possession of the school, we have no restrictions on how late we can be there. So our teams are often practicing into the wee hours of the morning. Also, the school board uses "the breeze" for storage of high jump mats, so it's a great place to nap. :) - Karthik [more] |

Games are starting on Thursdays until week 17, so I'm going to start each week on Sundays now.
Scores will still be posted after the MNF game. Remember: If you miss the Thursday or Saturday games, some points are better than none, so keep the picks coming. Shoot-out. Dallas because they can control the clock with J. Jones and M. Barber. Detroit at Minnesota Watch out for that Vikings D. Seattle at Philadelphia I like what I saw out of the Eagles. Seahawks barely got past the Rams. San Diego at Kansas City Let's see how Kolby Smith does against a real run D. New York Jets at Miami I have no sympathy for the Dolphins. Jacksonville at Indianapolis Despite all the injuries, Colts will still win. San Francisco at Carolina Patrick Willis is a beast. Houston at Tennessee I've lost my confidence in the Titans. Atlanta at St. Louis Rams are on a roll (excluding Bulger and their QB situation) Buffalo at Washington Tough one here, Redskins at home + a better running game. Cleveland at Arizona A huge shoot-out in the desert. I have to give the edge to Arizona, being the home team and they have a better defense. Denver at Oakland Shanahan formula: take any RB, insert into starting line-up, watch him run for 100 yards. It does help that they play the 31st ranked run D twice, though. New York Giants at Chicago The Giants injuries and the start of another second half collapse gives the game to the Bears. The only reason the game might be close is because Grossman is at QB... Tampa Bay at New Orleans Bucs have a well-rounded team and seal the deal on the NFC South. Cincinnati at Pittsburgh This could be a close one, if the Steelers are stupid enough to make this a trap game (New England is coming, week 14) New England at Baltimore The old Patriots return and run up the score as usual.

Green Bay at Dallas The Game That No One Watched (Boo to NFL Network) Sunday: Detroit at Minnesota The Lions started well against Green Bay but fell apart. If they can protect the ball, I think they can beat Minnesota, but Kitna is sacked a ton and throws picks. Seattle at Philadelphia I officially flip this pick if Donovan McNabb starts. San Diego at Kansas City But goooooooooo KC. New York Jets at Miami Ricky Williams' Big Day? Jacksonville at Indianapolis The Brownies need Jacksonville to fall to improve their playoff chances. San Francisco at Carolina San Fran didn't win last week so much as Arizona bumbled the game away. Houston at Tennessee But of course I'm a Texan fan this week. Atlanta at St. Louis If he plays, Gus Frerrote could lose this game all by himself if he isn't careful. Buffalo at Washington Cleveland at Arizona This is a trap game, but if lowly San Francisco can beat this team, geez. If the Browns' secondary holds up as well as it did in the 2nd half against Houston, they've got a good shot at taking this game. Arizona's clock "management" may gift-wrap a victory for the Brownies regardless. Denver at Oakland Which division is worse - AFC West or NFC West? Horrible.
