Go to Post I tried, but our freshmen lost enthusiasm about filing the blocks of aluminum I gave them into Andymark Performance Wheels after only a few hours! - Greg Woelki [more]

Question HUMINOID ROBOTS

I was watching a show about huminoid robots in a wrestling match in Japan. Thease robots were only about 12 to 18 inches tall and moved like a human that was wrestling. This made me think, How hard would it be to incorparate some of thease ideas into the FRC robot. We could build hands and arms on our robot, or even build walking robots that could actual jump over another robot. I would like to hear thoughts on this and is this the next design objective for FRC. We have gone just about as far as we can go with wheels.
This link shows some of thease robots http://www.robots-dreams.com/2007/10...-rob.html#more
