Materials useful for informing potential sponsors

Posted by Bob Phelps, Other on team #NA from Milton Academy.

Are there any materials that are particularly helpful
to potential sponsors who are trying to understand
whether they should commit money or engineering/scientific
talent for a FIRST team?

Our school has not yet fielded a team, but we hope to
in the coming year. Identifying potential sponsors
should not be a problem, but any thoughts on how to
give an efficient, productive presentation would be
most appreciated. I'm a parent that has become a part
of the sponsorship recruitment effort.

Thanks,

Bob Phelps

Contact FIRST. They were very helpful in helping us with materials to
get our bunch to sign the checks.

In addition to going to FIRST, you can head over to www.huskiebrigade.com and check out our 'How to Start a FIRST Team' section. The info is written by our lead engineer, so he has first hand experience in starting a team and what it takes. Hope I could be of some help!
