Faceting an extruded line.

Hi
Is it possible to "fill in" an extruded line segment? I attached my current render, an answer would be much appreciated .

Re: Faceting an extruded line.

you could convert it to an editable poly. then select all the edges and cap them and there you go!

Re: Faceting an extruded line.

Either use Cap Holes (Modifier List) or make sure you segment is one complete line, no breaks. Making the line an editable spline could help as well, ummm or just playing with the options in extrude. It's not too hard of a fix

Re: Faceting an extruded line.

think about what you are doing here. If you cap the holes in that segment you end up with a solid block. So why not be efficiant and use object replacment and use a single solid block?

exactly what it says it means. Replacing an object with a different object only its over a corse of a single frame, so if you do it correctly it will apper semless.
