Point totals in a round could remain as is. But for ranking, count the victories. Then a low-scoring, but well-fought win would be weighted the same as a high-scoring, stroll-in-the-park against a weaker opponent. The teams with the most wins go to finals. Say, 5 out of 6 to qualify. Simple, easy, fair. Mrs. Trax |
