Team 25's Fortune 500 Project

Last summer I asked you what the biggest problem the teams have was and the response was outstandingly $$$$$

So Team 25 started the Fortune 500 Project. A committee of our students led by Shane Ogunnaike scoured the web to accumulate contact information for all of the Fortune 500 companies so all of our fellow FIRST teams have a starting place to begin their hunt for funding for the 2009 season. We don't have grant and foundation information from all of the them but eventually as the resource matures we can fill in the gaps and make the list a "live" resource maintained by FIRST students.

This is the link you want to get to to see the Google file we are trying to keep updated-
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...oH17myVA&gid=0

Our plan is to make as much information available regarding all the large and successful companies as possible with the hopes that each of your teams can use the information to find the type of sponsors such as the one we have been fortunate to find with BMS. Soon this and a whole load of other helpful information will be published at the new website www.FIRSTRINOS.com and we will be looking to have teams and individuals register with feedback on your experiences in using the list resource.

Chances are there is a company somewhere near you that your can connect with. Maybe you have team parents that can relate to a source here.

Good luck and Merry Christmas from all of us at team 25
