RIVETS FOR TRACTION WHEELS

As other teams we were looking for the rivets with large flanges for our traction wheels, we found a supplier and would like to share with the FIRST community

Interesting. Why did you decide to go with wide flanged ones? We've always used the normal flange ones from McMaster, and have never had any issues.

we have had issues with the traction material falling off the rivets, so we found some large flange ones, also the wide flange grips it stronger, and also since the wide flange rivets are the ones provided with the traction material we decided to use "original" type rivets.

Just curious, what size wheels are you using? Ours were roughly 5.5"x1", and the hardware-store-variety 1/8" rivets got us through Palmetto and BE just fine. (Granted, we used multiples on our wheels; look here for a glimpse.)

we use the IFI 6 inch wheels with a 1.5 inch width
