I'm sure we've all had people ask us to explain the game, seeding, etc, to them, and we replied with 'sure, got 20 minutes?' if you want to open the 'sport' of FIRST up to the masses, draw the crowds, get the following, we can't have a seeding system that is this incredibly complicated. yeah, it makes sense mathematically. but i can't imagine trying to explain to my grandfather, who attended regionals to see my team, that our seeding is based on a standard deviation blah blah blah. |
