Sponsor pneumatic components
My team has a potential sponsor that can provide us with pneumatic components, do I need to get authorization for using these components, and if I do, how?

Re: Sponsor pneumatic components
Matan,
Your situation is a little different than those teams in the US. You will need to ask on the Q&A for an answer. Teams outside of the US are sometimes granted special needs based on availability. |

Re: Sponsor pneumatic components
<R88> There is no limit to the number of solenoid valves, pressure regulators, pressure gauges, and connecting fittings that may be used on the ROBOT. All such devices must be “off the shelf” pneumatic devices rated by their manufacturers for pressure of at least 125psi
I believe this is the same as last year; you must use the specific compressor, actuators, air tanks, and pressure relief valve (same manufacturer and part number) but the other components can be any manufacturer in accordance with rule R88 |
