i know my team did it a couple of years ago but it was the year right before i joined the team
i know a few things about it
ill do some diging and reply
from what i heard it worked great
it had like velcro straps that went around the arm to hold it in place

We had a medical arm brace with a pot substituted at the elbow joint. And a medical wrist brace was then bolted to the elbow brace, the wrist had 2 momentary forward backward switches hooked up to it to control grabbing and rotating the tube.
it worked really well really intuitive also. we were originally planning on doing a shoulder pot to but then never really found out a good way to mount it...
