Chairmans Award

Coach on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central H.S. and Delphi Automotives Systems. Posted on 10/16/99 7:27 AM MST Chairmans Award information sent out by FIRST says DUE: Feb 11, 5:00pm. Is that a little early or what? My Y2k calendar has it at 5 weeks. Did I compute it wrong? Shortened time? What do you think? |

FIRST isn't just about those 6 weeks anymore, is it? But I swear I remember that 2 years ago, we had until 2 weeks after the robot was shipped to complete the Chairman's. Or maybe that was the animation. I'm guessing that FIRST judges need the extra time because of the increase in number of teams. |
