IR Sensor Questions

We have been playing around with our IR sensor and an oscillator. We seem to be getting a 40mS signal from our remote. I was wondering if anyone knew what the white pins (not white wire, but the white connector pins) on the board were for. We were also looking for the datasheet (to get more information). Anyone know where we might find it?

Thanks,
Team 811

Re: IR Sensor Questions

I think the white pins are for downloading some sort of program to the chip.

I don't think there is a data sheet. You could try looking at these links though.

This link is info on the original TinyIR2 that our board is based after.

Re: IR Sensor Questions

the white pins are a programming header that was used in the manufacturing of the device. there should be a +5 and ground in there, which might be useful (haven't tested this myself, but you can do it by continuity testing with a multimeter, i'll post results tomorrow)
otherwise it's not too useful for us to use.
