Re: Best 80/20 linear bearings

Depending on your exact design you could rely entirely on the 80/20 as the slider itself. Team 612 did this last year and it worked perfectly, never jammed, never failed and it was smooth all the way up and down.

All you have to do is take the corner of one piece of extrusion and slip it down the other piece, and then you have a slider. But if you have some sort of carriage at the end that is not made of 80/20 you probably do need linear bearings, and I may be mistaken but 80/20 suppliers often carry them.
