Re: pic: 254/968 Swerve Parts!

Ho-ly Cow. Is that a rendering? Or a real photo? I can't tell!

If it's a rendering: I'm guessing this is SolidWorks... how long did it take to render? Or what did you render it in?

If it's a photo: Where'd you get a table like that! I want one too!

And... what are these exactly? How big are they?

It's real. 968 has some very nice black tables that they use as a backdrop.

Re: pic: 254/968 Swerve Parts!

Eighteen hex shafts... That's too few for four six-wheeled robots and too many for four swerve robots. Two spares?

Re: pic: 254/968 Swerve Parts!

I think it might be a six wheel drive but the ones in the middle are different because of the gearbox.

So maybe 4 wheels shafts per robot, 4 robots....

That would only add four, bringing the total up to 22. Where are the other 2 you would need? (I thought they were kidding too at first.)

We've actually upgraded from the table top surface this year. We're finally doing some legit photography with backdrops inside of a light tent. The lack of harsh shadows and reflections are all due in part to the soft lighting that the tent produces.

Thanks for all the comments!
