The area above the catapult is clear, so the ball sits there. The flag holder (and some other stuff) sits on a tall support at the very back of the robot.
We understand there is the requirement to be very concerned about safety with this design, including having adequate warnings, interlocks, and pressure relief procedure. However, it might be that this design cannot be made to be safe when the ball is not in place, in which case we'll use a different design. Last edited by MrForbes : 17-01-2008 at 03:06. |
