Pics of our finished robot...

Ok so as you can see here we have the prototype which was actually a tribute to r2d2. Man she ran like a beaut but the only problem was the weight flux that she experienced(as we all know robots do tend to try to look their best) so we came up with a new design. i hope you guys enjoy the pics. she's quite the looker.

Give us feedback...Tell us how your doing!

Re: Pics of our finished robot...

Hmm, would you care to elaborate on your design? I'm having difficulty discerning what exactly is going on in the picture, so it's a bit tough to judge and/or provide feedback for your robot.

I'm also wondering, are you just pulling our chain?

Where's the 6WD you were talking about before?

You may want to test that arm with a regulation size field. Or is it just that big? Let me remind you of the 80" rule...

Very nice! I must say your robot will preform the actions required for gameplay very well. However, how will you get it into the arena?

Re: Pics of our finished robot...

Well, the arm is made out of expandable alloy... So we're obviously going to shrink it down before competition.
(This picture shows the expandable arm retracted into the base of the R2D2.)

As for the 6wd, there are six omniwheels in a polar array on the bottom of the robot, programmed to spin at a precise speed based on the necessary direction. This system allows it INCREDIBLE maneuverability and stability.

We also got out spare balls in, so... Thats really keen, because the arm already popped our original. Now we can begin testing our catapult.
