Go to Post Scoring ringers is going to be like dating. While a select few will master it with relative ease, the vast majority will need quite a bit of time to refine their skills to an acceptable level. - artdutra04 [more]

LCD

My team has purchased an LCD from Scott Edwards Electronics. We will use it for diagnostics on the robot, but I was wondering if there is any way to use the LCD on the OI. That would be wicked cool.

Re: LCD

as long as it can run off of the power provided by the controller, then you should be ok. but no outside power sources

Re: LCD

if you connect it to the dashboard port you can run it off of a separate battery (think of a laptop) you just have to have some kind of controller that can parse the output stream and turn it into something the lcd can read. you justy cant connect it to the inputs on the OI

Re: LCD

You can find a datasheet on the dashboard if you download the dashboard viewer application from ifi robotics there is a pdf with it that tells you all about the output from the dashboard
