Sorry but we're a little new at this...is it possible to use the sample carpet included in the kit as a part of your robot? If anyone knows the answer please post! Thanks!

As far as I know from past years, anything in the kit (including the sample ball for instance) can be used on your robot. It's in the kit.. it's yours to use..

we've always used everything in there..

Colleen is right. With the exception of the Small Parts catalog, anything in the kit is fair game. A team wrote in to FIRST two years ago, asking if they could use the pages from the Small Parts catalog to make paper mache. FIRST told them no, which I suppose is for the best.
