Where do we get a new gear tooth sensor?

Team 2551 needs a new gear tooth sensor. One of ours works and the other one doesn't. We've checked everything, read all the threads and have no ideas what else to do.

Does anyone know where we can get a new sensor?

Any help appreciated...

Thanks,

Dave

Re: Where do we get a new gear tooth sensor?

The gear tooth sensors provided in the KOP were custom made for FIRST.

There have been many threads about 1 of the 2 gear tooth sensors being bad in the KOP.

FIRST has issued a response in the Q&A forum to the effect that replacements will not be available. Teams will have to figure out a solution on their own.

I suggest you search again using the keywords "gear tooth sensor".

Post under CD-SWAP or make a thread asking teams that aren't using theirs if there is something they would like to trade for.
